Featured Procedures

Facelift (Cervico-Facial Rhytidoplasty)
The facelift, corrects the gravitational changes in the lower one third of the face and the upper neck by smoothing the jaw-line, softening the jowls, taking up the lax skin in the neck and under the chin, and repositioning the lower cheeks in a more superior position, resulting in a smoother, more youthful appearance.
Upper and/or Lower Eye Lift (Blepharoplasty)
Blepharoplasty is the procedure that rejuvenates lower and upper eyelids restoring a younger, refreshed look. Eyelid lift (or blepharoplasty) is the preferred treatment for removing bags under the eyes or heavy upper eyelids, conditions that can give you a tired or haggard look and make you look older than your years.
CoolSculpting®
CoolSculpting(R) is the coolest, most innovative, non-surgical way to lose those annoying bumps and bulges of stubborn fat. This revolutionary technology targets and cools unwanted fat cells in the selected area to induce a noticeable, natural-looking reduction in fat bulges.

What are Your Areas of Concern?

Facial rejuvenation procedures are performed to reverse or minimize the effects of facial aging. This is accomplished by addressing one or more of the three major features of facial aging:

Skin aging
Volume depletion
Tissue laxity and sagging

During a facial rejuvenation consultation, Dr. Russo will have patients look in the mirror and point out their areas of concern, discuss the reasons for their concerns and then make recommendations for correction.

While all the causes of facial aging act in concert, they are treated separately. Dr. Russo's goal is to maximize facial rejuvenation outcomes while meeting the goals of the patient.

Hands

While most patients focus on facial rejuvenation to reverse signs of aging, most neglect their aging hands. The main components of aging hands include loss of volume and discoloration such as brown spots caused by sun damage.

Several types of rejuvenation treatments for the hands can be done including noninvasive treatments, and minimally invasive procedures. The treatment plan for rejuvenating the hands is developed based on an examination during the consultation and the patient's goals.

Dr. Russo may recommend one or a combination of the following procedures depending on each individual's needs.

Procedures

Nose

Rhinoplasty is usually performed under general anesthesia in an outpatient setting. In most cases an open approach is used, in which the skin of the columella (the strip of skin between the nostrils) is cut and lifted away from the bony and cartilaginous framework beneath. The bone and cartilage is shaped, reduced, or augmented as desired. The skin is then re-draped over the modified framework. An external splint (cast) is applied for one week to protect the nose and help maintain the new form. Rarely, and NEVER routinely, internal splints or packing is inserted through the nostrils for several days.

The best opportunity to achieve an excellent result in rhinoplasty is the first time. Subsequent procedures are increasingly difficult to perform or achieve desired results. For this reason, it's important to select your rhinoplasty surgeon carefully. Illinois rhinoplasty specialist, Dr. Russo has an extensive experience with Rhinoplasty of almost twenty years and over 2600 cases. A large percentage of cases are complex involving previous surgeries.

Procedures

A major component of facial aging is gravitational aging, which is seen as drooping, bagginess and sagging of the facial tissues. This is due to the downward displacement of the facial soft tissues: skin, muscle and fat due primarily to gravity and volume loss
