SkinMedica™ Vitalize Peel®

-It is imperative to use a Broad-Spectrum UVA/UVB Sun Block of at least 20 and avoid direct sunlight immediately following the procedure and for at least 1 week.

-The skin may look and feel like a mild windburn for the next 2 or 3 days prior to peeling. After approximately 48 hours, flaking may occur. This may last 2 to 5 days.

-DO NOT PICK OR PULL THE SKIN.

-When washing your face, DO NOT SCRUB and do not use a washcloth. Use a gentle cleanser.

-SkinMedcia™ TNS Recovery Complex® should be used 2 times daily immediately after cleansing to help with the healing process and increase results of the peel.

-Peeling and flaking can easily be controlled by using SkinMedica™ TNS Ceramide Treatment Cream. The more often this product is applied, the better and quicker skin will heal.

-Let the skin shed at its own rate to avoid scarring or rashes.

-The regular use of Retinoic Acid, Vitamin C, Salicylic Acid, Alpha-Hydroxy Acid, scrubs and/or bleaching creams can be resumed after 1 week.

-Wait I week or until flaking or mild irritation subsides before having ANY OTHER FACIAL PROCEDURES, including:
• Facials
• Microdermabrasion
• Laser Treatments/Laser Hair Removal
• Facial Waxing
• Injectable Filler
• BOTOX® Injections
