SkinMedica™ Illuminize Peel™

-It is imperative to use a Broad-Spectrum UVA/UVB Sun Block of at least 20 and avoid direct sunlight immediately following the procedure and for at least 1 week.

-Because of the very superficial nature of this peel, you should not expect to see visible peeling. Occasionally you may have very minor flaking 3-4 days after the procedure.

-Skin may appear slightly more red than usual for about 1-2 hours after the treatment.

-Skin should look normal the next day.

-When washing the face, use a gentle cleanser. Do not scrub or use a wash cloth.

-Apply SkinMedica™ TNS Recovery Complex® 2 times daily followed by SkinMedica™ Ceramide Treatment Cream for 4-5 days after the peel or as often as needed to relieve any dryness.

-The regular use of Retin-A, alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) products or bleaching creams can be resumed after 4-5 days.

-Wait until flaking or mild irritation subsides before having ANY OTHER FACIAL PROCEDURES, including:
• Facials
• Microdermabrasion
• Laser Treatments/Laser Hair Removal
• Facial Waxing
• Injectable Filler
• BOTOX® Injections
